Impact Battery is an online web store for all sorts of electronic batteries for your truck, motorbike, car, charges and a lot more throughout the USA. You can buy your batteries with the help of a custom tool built by us called YMM tool that helps you find your batteries as per the year, make and model of the vehicle.

Project Brief

 

Impact Battery client has contacted us to get his existing webshop to the latest magento version with a new layout to support mobile responsiveness to cover the mobile commerce market. The overall scope was to restructure the entire Magento store with a more stable and secure version & layout with faster checkout process.

Faced Challenges

 

Upgrading to the latest version was one of the toughest challenges we faced while working on this project as such back in 2017 there was a lot of extensions which was not compatible with the Magento 2 version therefore we need to dig out all the extensions one by one and need to customise those to make it compatible with the latest Magento version on impact battery website.

This project was fully a dedicated project with a few dedicated Magento resources worked on almost a half of the year to finish the overall scope of the project within the stipulated time and budget. The project was straightforward with crystal clear milestones and deliverables using Basecamp PMS & Trello.
