Click N Book App, an innovative app allowing users to seamlessly book taxis, providing a reliable and efficient platform for on-the-go transportation needs with hassle free payment options using wallets. Click N Book has low fare rates compared to most of the other taxi apps which make Click N Book popular among all.

Project Brief

 

The overall scope of this project involves a complete SDLC process in which we were responsible for wireframing to design, and design to deployment for a taxi booking system based in Brazil. The scope also includes the deployment of the app stores on amazon web services with a backend system using Supabase.

Faced Challenges

 

The project was bit challenging as such the App’s core functionality was to provide a minimal fare compared to the other taxi booking apps in the market therefore we have implemented a custom fare calculator after careful consideration of other app’s fare rates but at the end we have successfully implemented the fare calculator which still competing with other apps.

Project Approach

 

The project was approached with a dedicated team mindset, as a fixed-price model presented risks due to uncertainties surrounding essential features. With a team of seven dedicated resources, we diligently worked on the project, completing it within a 8-month timeframe.

  • Accurate location has made this app even more popular across the country and has minimised the cost of fuel.
  • Driver app isn’t required to add a lot of ID documents as such the app uses a centralised agency for the verification process.
  • The app has a real time chatting module that helps the rider to connect with the driver easily without spending a penny on the carrier.
  • App has inbuilt voice command option that search and book the ride easily without typing anything.
  • Easy payment options such as paypal, credit card and debit card.

Strict agile methodology enabled the team to finish the app on time within the defined budget range.

Results

 

The overall results of this application is the number of downloads as such this app has lowest fare rates among all the applications. Downloading the application has also increased the booking amount and the revenue for the company by 30% compared to what they were achieving on their other SAAS platform.
